Founded in 1983, Electrotherm is a passionate company having interests primarily in engineering and beyond. With innovation in product line, timely implementation and able leadership of technocrat Mr. Mukesh Bhandari, the company is today amongst the foremost steel and engineering companies of the world. Electrotherm has its network at as many as 27 places in India and also in Africa, Bangladesh, China, Iran, Malaysia, Pakistan, South Africa, Turkey, Russia and other CIS countries.

Electrotherm's full-fledged state-of-the-art manufacturing and testing facilities are spread over an expansive area of 90,000 square meters at Palodia on the outskirts of Ahmedabad. Its ISO 9001:2000 certified plant is well-equipped with assembly shops boasting the latest CNC machines and a host of special-purpose machines for better precision and better quality of the products. It manufactures induction furnaces, ladle refining furnaces, metal refining converters, induction heating and hardening equipments, continuous induction furnace and other specialized plant and machinery as well as HYL gas-based DRI plants. What’s more, Electrotherm is one and only Indian player to offer turnkey services for setting up medium-sized steel plants. Electrotherm is the only company in India manufacturing melting equipments as per European standards and equipments are being supplied with CE certificates.

Electrotherm started to offer custom-built melting solution to the Indian Steel Industry in 1983. Since then, there was no looking back. Besides being leading manufacturer of Plant and Machinery, Electrotherm has
Rs. 440-Crore Steel Plant at Samakhiyali, Kutch which is a fully-integrated steel plant consisting of Induction Furnaces, Ladle Refining Furnaces and Continuous Casters. There is a separate line for Alloy Steel and Stainless Steel making through Metal Refining Konverter (AOD). We also have Rolling Mills for TMT bars and structural sections. There are two Sponge Iron Kilns and a 30 MW power plant.

Electrotherm has extended its business and made a smooth transition from a metallurgical solution provider to an electric vehicle manufacturer. We have made it our mission to provide futuristic vehicles which are not only economical but also eco-friendly and at the same time inexpensive to acquire and easy to operate. That’s exactly what our Yo-bykes brand of electric vehicle is all about. Needless to say, Yo-bykes was a runaway success all over the country and also won the covetous ‘2007 Overdrive Automotive Product of the Year’ award. |
